Creation of a Character Constitution for your club
How is your club communicating across all levels which character attributes you expect in the selection of transfer targets, or which need to be developed in your current playing squad?
Two years of research have allowed us to distil a list of those character attributes which are considered to be the most valuable ones for elite sporting success.
Using this data we will work with each of your nominated people to select those character attributes that are important to your club.
It is our objective to ensure that this is a collaborative and inclusive activity with each of these groups able to influence the outcome using their hard earned practical experience.
The result will be a character constitution for the club that is unique to your values and provide you with this key definition to add to your other analytic criteria for assessing potential transfer targets.
It will be a living document that the club is able to maintain and adjust with experience over time.
In addition, it may be used as a blueprint for your current playing staff, which you may find useful for targeted coaching in any areas where the player would benefit. Established research shows that in many cases, players can benefit from coaching to improve traits such as motivation and discipline for example.
It is important for us to stress that this constitution is to provide your hard working scouting and recruitment staff with additional support. We recognise how challenging the process of transfer decision making and post-transfer success, or failure.
Given the huge investments clubs make in recruiting players, both in transfer fees and salary commitments, we are convinced that this is the next big step forward in elite player recruitment.
Formal measurement of each of chosen selected character attributes for your selected transfer targets
How is your club formally assessing the character attributes of each of your selected transfer targets? You measure many other physical and match-play metrics and yet it is sometimes problems with a new player's attitude that damages the club. Our approach will help you reduce the risks of failure of the sometimes huge financial investments you are making.
We will use our use our own techniques to formally measure your chosen character attributes to support the recruitment team in their selection and assessment of transfer targets.
Our techniques will in the main be based upon the measurable player statistics extracted from whichever player database you currently use in player selection.
Where any of the chosen character attributes cannot be measured in this way, we will apply alternative methods.

For example, analysis of existing players' performance to aid their development, opposition analysis, injury recovery tracking and analysis, targeting of fan base for merchandising, analysis of membership and ticketing, take-up of offers for merchandise and non-football events, effectiveness of club website, analysis of questionnaire responses, digital product or service development and refinement, support of sponsorship selection and value.
